Purple, grown, green, flame, sometimes a leopard print and always a full, strikingly marked lip – Zygopetalum does not do minimalism. You also keep staring at her because at first glance she appears to have two different flowers. The crown consists of five brown and green sepals from which a voluptuous lip emerges. In the jungle it provides excellent camouflage; in the living room this lady attracts special attention.

Styling

Zygopetalum looks great in wooden pots or robust brown earthenware. Echoing the brown of the upper petals in the base creates a stylish whole.
